We will do everything in our power to make sure that your get an amazing and memorable stay at Senseful Retreat. We have converted a winery into a unique setting for yoga, mediation and healthy food. Besides the mental nourishment from yoga and meditation, you will be spoiled daily with delicious, healthy food prepared of anti-inflammatory ingredients.

We will go for hikes in the tranquil, ancient wine district, where the first European monks settled 1000 years ago - as Priorat "must be a place God created"

YOGA AND MEDITATION

 

During the stay, yoga- and meditation teacher Hrönn Kold Sigurðardóttir will guide you through a program that takes you deep inside and brings forth deep inner silence and insight.

As we wake up our innate power and release tension in the mind and body we'll move towards state of clarity and balance.

We meditate and practice pranayama (breathing exercises) each morning. The physical practice is balanced so that each morning class is a powerful Agni flow (Agni means fire) and the afternoon class of 2 hours is more gentle Lunar (moon) practice that relaxes and nourishes. Every day we focus on a theme that allows you to cultivate some of the heart's special qualities that uplift and expands your consciousness.

The days end with a short session of chanting and meditation that allows you to let the experience sink in and plant seeds of transformation.

One afternoon session will give you an experience with essential oils and how to use them as support to your health and wellness regime.

HEALTHY AND NUTRTIOUS FOOD

 

Your private chef and nutrition enthusiast Nina Langkilde will prepare and serve all your meals. The food you will be served is made by anti-inflammatory principles. With mainly vegetables, nuts, seeds, berries, healthy oils, fruits and probiotics - and as little gluten as possible - so we can decrease inflammation in the body, feel much better in general and also prevent lifestyle diseases. Your brain, your intestines, your heart and your metabolism love this type of food - and so will you, because each meal is created from an idea of taste, beauty and simplicity and of course as a satisfying and nutritious energy for your body.

You'll hear a lot more about the effects of anti-inflammatory food, probiotic products and the latest research in good health support through diet. Some will hear more than others - it depends on your personal interest.

 

DAILY CONTENT

 

Every day we plant seeds for your journey and you can expect to:

  • Practice 5,5 hours of yoga and meditation every day - morning (3hours) and afternoon (2,5 hours)
  • Eat 3 healthy and delicious meals made from local ingredients - and of course healthy (sweet) snacks and fruit during the day.
  • Talk about a 'heart' issues - one pr. day - which uplift and expand your awareness
  • Get inspiration and tools for inner silence
  • Learn about how food can heal your body and affect your wellbeing
  • Learn about the power of essential oils and how to use them in your daily rutine to support your health and wellbeing
  • Explore the beautiful mountain area in the afternoon between vineyards.

ACCOMENDATION

 

Senseful Retreat is 1hour 40 minutes drive from Barcelona airport (El Prat) in the heart of the wine district Priorat. The area Priorat consists of 11 small medieval villages, which are primarily known for its unparalleled hearty red wine that monks, back in the 12th century, started to grow. But it is not the wine that has our focus this time, but the beauty, the authenticity and heartiness in the area. We will stay at one of the most luxurious wineries in Priorat, with only 7 rooms that provide a tranquil base for your stay and offer relaxed luxury. Trossos is located in a very unique place, high in the beautiful mountains providing you with nature surroundings that most effectively induce relaxation.

We are convinced that you'll be just as captivated by the beauty of the mountain vineyards and aesthetic design of our chosen location as we are. We look forward to have you with us for 5 amazing days.

 

PRICE AND DATE

 

The stay will cost 8.700 DKK (€ 1.160) per. person.

 

6 of the rooms at Senseful Retreat are double rooms shared by two people. 1 room is for 4 people - the room consists of 2 adjoining rooms with a connecting door

All rooms have a private bathroom.

 

If you are traveling alone, we will try to match you with the best possible participant.

 

Not included: Flight tickets, medical and travel insurance.

 

DEPARTURE AND ARRIVAL

 

We want to make your arrival and departure as smooth as possible.

 

Arrival

You can either choose to be picked up free at the airport and driven directly to Senseful Retreat. The bus fits with the flight arriving in Barcelona (El Prat) from Copenhagen the 9th of Maj @17.10 with Vueling.

If you choose another time of arrival, we will guide you on how to arrive at Senseful Retreat the easiest way.

Departure

The bus take you back to the airport the 13th of May about 14 o'clock, mathcing the flight to Copenhagen 16.50.

If you want to explore this beautiful area further, take a few days in Priorat, Barcelona or the beaches in Sitges, ​​we have lots of good tips and tricks for activities and restaurants and can also recommend a few good hotels.
